The petitioner being the husband of the informant is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 406, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. The basic accusation is of torture for nonfulfillment of the dowry demand. The marriage between the petitioner and the informant on 06.06.2014 is admitted.

The matter was referred to the Mediation Centre on the joint prayer of the parties but the issue could not be resolved as reflected from the report of the Mediator dated

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.15954 of 2015 (5) dt.29-10-2015 2/2 16.09.2015 at Flag 'X'.

The petitioner and the informant are present in the Court.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the informant that the informant is ready to reconcile the issue whereas it is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is not ready to accept the offer of the informant as it is claimed that the petitioner filed Matrimonial Suit No. 270 of 2014 on 23.07.2014 just one and half months of the marriage. Considering the present stand of the petitioner, let the learned court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner, if the petitioner surrenders before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Mahila (Bhojpur) P.S. Case No. 273 of 2014 pending in the court of learned Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate, Bhojpur at Ara.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is disposed of.
