The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 304(B) / 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is a case of 'Dowry Death'.

Petitioner is husband of the deceased. Earlier, a case under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code was registered for torture of the deceased and now deceased has been killed by the accused persons. There is specific allegation against this petitioner of committing torture due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. Deceased has died in an unnatural circumstances at her matrimonial home within seven years of marriage.
