2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Amnour P.S. Case No. 98 of 2023 for the offence registered under Sections 498(A), 363 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a person with clean antecedent and the informant alleges that his daughter was married to Brij Kumar on 31.05.2022 and on 04.02.2023, the informant had gone to the matrimonial home of his daughter but he did not find anyone present and he was informed by the villagers that the accused persons including the petitioner have disappeared his daughter for non-fulfilment of dowry demand. It is further submitted that the FIR has been instituted on 11.05.2023 i.e. after a delay of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.37088 of 2024(3) dt.26-09-2024 2/2 more than three months which casts aspersion of the case of petitioner. It is also submitted that son-in-law of the informant had approached this Court taking anticipatory bail by filing Cr. Misc. No. 35971 of 2024 and the same has been directed to be listed on 30.09.2024. It is next submitted that the petitioner is unmarried sister-in-law (nanad) of the victim and the allegation against her is general and omnibus in nature.

4. Learned APP appearing on behalf of the State opposes the prayer for bail.

5. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, let the petitioner, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the order, shall be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the ACJM-VIII, Chapra, Saran in connection with Amnour P.S. Case No. 98 of 2023, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
