Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under sections 302, 307 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code as well as section 27 of the Arms Act.

Petitioner is named in the first information report with allegation that he participated in committing murder of the deceased. Moreover, in that course, he assaulted injured- Vikash Kumar who appears to have sustained altogether five injuries on his person. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail and hence, his prayer for bail in connection with Akbarpur P.S. Case no. 136/2000 pending in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nawada stands rejected.
