Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25 Antiques & Treasure Act and Section 30(i) (iii) Ancient Monument & Archeological Sites & Remains Act. Petitioner is not named in the first information report but in course of investigation, the name of petitioner came in this case. However, the stolen idol has not been recovered from possession of the petitioner and having more or less similar allegation, several co-accused have already been granted privilege of bail.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24656 of 2016 (3) dt.21-06-2016 2/2 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Aurangabad in connection with Goh P.S. Case No. 176 of 2015.
