Petitioner seeks bail in Special Case No.4103 of 2020 arising out of Bihta P.S. Case No.451 of 2020 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. The petitioner was intercepted while he was driving Alto Car bearing registration No.BR-1Z-2119 and on search, 700 litres of liquor was recovered from the car. The petitioner is also accused in another case registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Taking into consideration the fact that 700 litres of liquor was being carried by the petitioner in Alto Car and the fact that the petitioner is also accused in another case registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.32339 of 2020(2) dt.07-12-2020 2/2 Accordingly, the same is rejected.

The petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after remaining nine months in custody.
