The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Baikunthpur P.S. Case No.163 of 2018 registered under Sections 30(a), 41(i) (ii) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. It is alleged that on secret information, the police searched a place. Five vehicles including the vehicle of the petitioner were intercepted and huge quantity of liquor was recovered.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is owner of one of the vehicles but he had sold the vehicle to Tata Motors Ganga Vehicles Private Limited on 31.03.2017. The occurrence took place on 04.07.2018. Tata Motors Ganga Vehicles Private Limited was plying the vehicle. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner,
