The petitioner being the husband of the complainant is languishing in custody since 09.12.2014 in a complaint case in which processes have been directed to be issued after cognizance being taken for the offences punishable under Sections 498A of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
The basic accusation is of torture for nonfulfillment of the dowry demand after 16 years of the marriage. Considering the nature of accusation and the period under custody, let the above named petitioner, be released
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6157 of 2015 (02) dt.16-02-2015 2/2 on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kaimur at Bhabua in connection with Complaint Case No. 65 of 2013.
