The petitioner seeks bail in Kadwa (Balia Belon O.P.) P.S. Case No. 236 of 2013, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is alleged to have assaulted Suni Khatoon the daughter of the informant with Daab a sharp edged weapon on her head.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Suni Khatoon received three injuries out of which two are painful swelling and one is opined to be caused by sharp edged weapon. The injuries are simple in nature.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that the petitioner is a lady and on account of assault made by the

No.9381 of 2015 (3) dt.17-03-2015 2/2 petitioner simple injury was caused to the daughter of the informant, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar in connection with Kadwa (Balia Belon O.P.)
