This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offence under Sections 498A of the Penal Code and 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The petitioner is in jail since 16.01.2014 and the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is either ready to keep his wife with full dignity or, if for any reason the wife is not ready to live with him, he is ready to pay maintenance of Rs.2000/- per month.

Hence, having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on provisional bail for four months on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Danapur P.S. Case No. 28 of 2014 G.R. No. 179 of 2014 to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Danapur, subject to the conditions that after one month of his release the petitioner shall keep his wife with full dignity or if for any reason the wife is not ready to live with him, the petitioner shall pay maintenance worth

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.46560 of 2014 (2) dt.14-01-2015 2/2 Rs.2000/- per month, till a higher maintenance is decided by a competent Court and after four months the Court below, on being satisfied that the petitioner is fulfilling the conditions, shall confirm the bail bond and the petitioner shall appear in person in Court on each and every date, fixed in the case and any absence, on two consecutive dates, without any reasonable ground to the satisfaction of the Court below, shall be a ground of cancellation of bail of the petitioner by the lower Court itself.
