2. The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with C.R. Case No. 1688 of 2019, for the offence under Sections 498(A)/34, 494 of the Indian Penal Code and u/s 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. As per prosecution case, the allegation against the petitioners are of demanding Rs. 70,000/- cash and a motorcycle as dowry and due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry accused persons started torturing the complainant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the petitioners are innocent and falsely been implicated in this case.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36019 of 2025(3) dt.20-08-2025 2/2 They are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the complainant. Petitioners are living separately in mess and business from the husband of the complainant. There are general and omnibus allegation against the petitioners.

5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer of bail.

6. From perusal of the impugned order, it appears that the process of 82 and 83 Cr.P.C. were issued against the petitioners, so the anticipatory bail is not maintainable against the petitioners. The petitioners are directed to surrender before the court below and prays for regular bail. The learned court below will consider the bail application of the petitioners in the light of Judgment passed by Hon'ble Apex Court as well as Patna High Court in case of Arnesh Kumar v. State of Bihar & Anr. (2014) 8 SCC 273.

7. In view thereof, the present application stands disposed of.
