The petitioner apprehends her arrest in connection with Nalanda P.S. Case No.63 of 2022 (wrongly mentioned as Nalanda P.S. Case No.65 of 2022 in the prayer portion of the bail petition), registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation against the petitioner is that she got herself appointed as Niyojit Panchayat Teacher by submitting forged B.E.T.E.T., 2011 Result Card.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34165 of 2022(5) dt.21-11-2022 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph3 of the bail application. It is further submitted that similarly situated co-accused person has been granted anticipatory bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 16.11.2022, passed in Cr. Misc. No.56657 of 2022.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Vigilance submits that prayer for anticipatory bail of several co-accused persons have been rejected by different co-ordinate Benches of this Court.
Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
