The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Salkhua P.S.Case No.265 of 2013 (Sessions Trial No.2342 of 2014) registered under Sections 364A and other sections of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3(i) (x) of the S.C./S.T Act. The allegation against the petitioner is that he along with other associates, abused and threatened of dire consequences to the sister-in-law of the informant and lateron, abducted her minor son for ransom.
It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is not named in the FIR. It has further been submitted that the abducted minor boy was recovered on the next day from the railway station but no statement of the victim boy was recorded under section 164 Cr.P.C. It has further been pointed out that the petitioner is in custody since 31.3.2014. On behalf of the State, it has been stated that the petitioner is named in the FIR.
Having considered the aforesaid facts, the petitioner ,
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.15801 of 2015 (2) dt.08-06-2015 2/2 named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge, I, Saharsa in connection with Salkhua P.S.Case No.265 of 2013 (Sessions Trial No.2342 of 2014).
