JUSTICE NAVANITI PRASAD SINGH ORAL ORDER 04-03-2015 The petitioner is the husband, who is in custody since 28.9.2014 in relation to Saran Mahila P.S.Case No. 06 of 2014 instituted under Sections 341, 323, 498A of the IPC and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner draws attention of this Court to the very first information report to show that the entire occurrence has taken place at Calcutta where couple used to reside. The marriage took place more than six years back. They have a child of four and a half years old. The husband works at Calcutta and they were first staying at Calcutta till the informant was abandoned and came at Saran.
In the facts and circumstances, let the petitioner Abdul Rahman be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra, in connection with Saran Mahila P.S.Case No. 06 of 2014.
