The petitioner, namely, Tuntun Kumar Singh is in custody in Samho P.S. Case No.6 of 2016 under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and 25(1-a)/26(iii) of the Arms Act. According to the prosecution case, one cartridge has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and he is in custody since 04.04.2016. So far Section 414 I.P.C. is concerned, it is submitted that the vehicle belonged to one of the co-accused as it is registered in his name.

In view of the nature of the allegation and the period of detention, I direct that the petitioner named above be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.5,000/-(Rupees five thousand)
