JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 22-06-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the complainant as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

The contention on behalf of the petitioner is that the petitioner gave several signed cheques to the complainant in course of business transaction but later on, when some differences took place between petitioner and complainant, the complainant got instituted several cases against the petitioner and petitioner was remanded in one case on 08.10.2014 and when he got bail in that case, he was remanded in another case and accordingly, he is languishing in jail custody for more than six months.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16934 of 2015 (3) dt.22-06-2015 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad in connection with Complaint Case No. 743 of 2014 subject to condition that he shall attend the trial court on each and every date in person for the period of six months or till conclusion of his trial whichever is earlier and if he fails to do so on two consecutive dates without any genuine cause, the learned trial court shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bonds of the petitioner. It is also made clear that concerned court shall take all steps to conclude the trial of the petitioner within the above stated period of six months.
