JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 07-02-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Sidhwaliya P.S. Case No. 239 of 2018 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Considering the allegation that the petitioner and one another were carrying illicit liquor and recovery of 24 liters of Indian made foreign liquor from a bag kept on the motorcycle on which the petitioner was pillion rider, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail.

The application for grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner is rejected.

In case, the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail the same shall be considered on its own merits without being
