The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Section 302 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The father of the victim stated that his daughter was married with Sultan Mian, son of Muslim Mian, the petitioner, ten years ago but the accused persons killed his daughter and disposed of her dead body.

The petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased and no specific allegation is made against the petitioner. The petitioner is said to have confessed and disclosed that his son took his wife and killed her.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that except the confession of the petitioner in which he disclosed about the
