The petitioner is in custody since 29.03.2013 in a case for the offence registered under Sections 302, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that save and except, the fact that the petitioner had an enmity with the informant, there is no cogent material to connect the petitioner in

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.47247 of 2014 (2) dt.04-02-2015 2/2 the alleged crime. However, it appears that the petitioner had made a confessional statement before the other co-villagers and on the basis of such confessional statement; the body of the victim child was recovered in the Baskothi of Hiralal Choudhary. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
