The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Nanpur P.S. Case No.299 of 2018 registered under Sections 272, 273 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The informant got information that some persons were carrying liquor on such, Abnish Kumar @ Chunnu Kumar was arrested and he disclosed the name of Raju Kumar. From the possession of apprehended accused, motorcycle and many bottles of Indian made foreign liquor was recovered. The apprehended accused disclosed that he purchased the liquor from Saban Thakur(the petitioner) of village Jajuar. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

No.33427 of 2019(2) dt.21-05-2019 2/2 nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner but it appears from perusal of para 3 of bail petition that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent and he is accused in as many as ten criminal cases registered under different offences including Section 302 I.P.C.

Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J) Saurabh/- U T
