The petitioner, who superannuated on 30.04.2022 from the post of Block Agriculture Officer, Barh, Patna, has filed the present writ petition seeking a direction upon the respondents to ensure his retiral benefits as well as arrears of revised salary on account of 5th, 6th and 7th Pay Revision, apart from the interest over the delayed payment.

3. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.8670 of 2023 dt.07-12-2023 2/2 respondent no. 7, duly sworn by the Block Development Officer, Barh, Patna, after serving the same upon the learned counsel for the petitioner. Averments have been made in paragraph nos. 10 to 16 that the petitioner has been paid all his admissible retiral/other dues, including arrears of salary/pension on account of pay revision.

4. Considering the averments made in the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the respondent no. 7, prima facie, it appears that the petitioner has already been paid his admissible retiral/other dues. Thus nothing further remains in the writ petition and the same stands disposed of.

5. Needless to observe that in case the petitioner finds that still certain amount remains due under any of the head, he shall have the liberty to approach before the concerned respondents by filing proper representation.

6. This disposes the writ petition.
