The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 395 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, six accused persons on three motorcycles overtook the petitioner and snatched Rs. 26,45,000 /- which he was carrying in two bags. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the FIR was registered against unknown. The name of the petitioner transpired in course of investigation when allegedly a confessional statement of the petitioner was recorded by the police in Ahiyapur P.S. Case no. 753 of 2020 and he was remanded in the instant case on 10.11.2020. The name of the petitioner also transpired in the confessional statement of coaccused Sunil Kumar Mahto made before the police. No

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.43884 of 2021(4) dt.07-03-2022 2/2 incriminating article has been recovered from the petitioner's possession nor has he been put on T.I. parade inspite of his being in custody since 10.11.2020. Chargesheet has been submitted in the case.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case, the petitioner having remained in custody for more than 1 year and chargesheet having been submitted in the case without putting the petitioner on T.I. parade, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Ahiyapur P.S. Case no. 692 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Muzaffarpur.
