Petitioners seek bail in a case registered under sections 489 (B), 489(C)/34, 15 (1) (a) (iii- a) of the Indian Penal Code read with section 16/17 of the UA (P) Act, 1967.

Taking into consideration that Rs 50,000/- counterfeit fake notes were recovered from the possession of petitioner no.1 whereas Rs 1, 00,000/- counterfeit fake notes were recovered from possession of petitioner no.2, I am not inclined to release the petitioners on bail and hence, their prayer for bail in connection with A.T.S. (Bihar) P.S. Case no. 01/2016 pending in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna stands rejected.
