This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with S. Tr. No.1897 of 2022 arising out of Nirmali P.S. Case No. 242 of 2022 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is recovery of 15.675 litres of country made liquor. The petitioner is in custody since 24.12.2022.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34444 of 2023(2) dt.24-05-2023 2/2 Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody, this application for regular bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completing six months in custody and on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Judge, Excise Court No.2, Supaul, in connection with S. Tr. No.1897 of 2022 arising out of Nirmali P.S. Case No. 242 of 2022.
