2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Saharsa Sadar P. S. Case No. 1026 of 2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 137(2), 140(3), 308(5), 308(4), 352, 351(2), 351(3), 115(2), 126(2), 118(1), 109, 117(1), and 3(5) of the BNS and Section 27 of the Arms Act later on Sections 25(1-B)a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act was added.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the main allegation of firing is against the co-accused Rohit Kumar and the petitioner is merely alleged to have been present with the co-accused without any specific role being attributed to him in the commission of the alleged occurrence. No.35160 of 2026(3) dt.15-07-2026 2/3 submitted that co-accused Rohit Kumar, against whom a more serious allegation has been levelled, has been granted regular bail by the learned trial court. It is further submitted that the petitioner is a teenaged boy having no criminal antecedent, in fact, the alleged occurrence relates to a road rage incident. It is lastly submitted that the FIR was registered with false allegations, and subsequently, a cordial relationship has been established between both parties, pursuant to which the informant has filed a compromise petition before the learned trial court.
4. Learned APP for the State opposes the bail prayer of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid submissions and mainly taking note of the petitioner's young age, his fair and clean antecedents, the nature of the allegations appearing against him, and his alleged role in the commission of the occurrence, this court is inclined to grant the relief of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail in connection with Saharsa Sadar P. S. Case No. 1026 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount
