JUSTICE JYOTI SARAN ORAL ORDER 05-01-2018 Heard Mrs. Mallika Mazumdar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Raj Kishore Roy, learned G.P.18 for the State. The petitioner has worked on the post of Revenue Karmachari and his grievance is that he has not been paid salary since October, 2008.

Initially, the petitioner was posted under the Circle Officer, Salkua since after his appointment on 2.10.2006 in the district of Saharsa and where he continued until 24.4.2015 where after he has been transferred to Kahra within the same district. It is the complaint of the petitioner that in between though the petitioner was put under suspension but the same was revoked on

Patna High Court CWJC No.480 of 2017 (2) dt.05-01-2018 2/2 20.4.2015 yet the salary has not been released and the petitioner continues to work without any salary.

Mr. Roy, learned counsel for the State counsel informs that despite communication, he has not been received any instruction from the Circle Officer, Kahra.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the nature of grievance raised, I deem it proper to dispose of the writ petition with the direction to the Circle Officer, Kahra to consider the grievance of the petitioner regarding nonpayment of his salary and dispose of the same by speaking order in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
