This is an application seeking regular bail registered for the offence punishable under Section 384/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner was at some point of time, posted as Nazir of Palasi Anchal Office under the district of Araria. Allegedly, original records relating to No. 18/1991-92 and 02/1992-93 with respect to Basgit Parcha were found missing from the Anchal Office. An F.I.R. was accordingly instituted against the informant. It is alleged that one Raju Singh assured the informant to handover the original records if he gives him a sum
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9502 of 2015 (2) dt.04-03-2015 of rupees one lakh. Subsequently, the said Raju Singh, demanded the said money from the informant at the instance of this petitioner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that over and above this, there is no allegation against the petitioner. Keeping in view the submission as above, let the petitioner Chandra Mohan Jha, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria in connection with Araira P.
