The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Sections 363, 365 of the Indian Penal Code. Later on, Section 364 of the Indian Penal Code was added.
The petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. The petitioner is a seller of SIM cards. It is alleged that the SIM number, from which ransom was demanded, was sold by the petitioner. The allegation against the petitioner is that he sold the SIM to some unknown person without taking his proper identification.
It appears that both the victims were recovered. The only allegation against the petitioner is that he sold the SIM card to someone without taking proper identification of the purchaser and, for that, the petitioner is in jail since 24.11.2014.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc.
