2. The instance application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Sitamarhi P.S. Case No. 179 of 2008 instituted for the offence u/s 372, 373 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3, 5, 6, 9 of the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act.
3. Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 19.9.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 35419 of 2023 with a direction to expedite the trial and conclude the same at the earliest.
4. In pursuance to the direction of this Court, a report dt.29.5.2024 with regard to the present stage of trial has been received by which it appears that the case has been committed to
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36477 of 2024(3) dt.05-07-2024 2/2 Court of session.
5. It is submitted by learned counsel on behalf of the petitioner that there is no hope to conclude the trial in near future. The petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 15.3.2023.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case as well as custody period of the petitioner, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Sitamarhi P.S. Case No. 179 of 2008 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi.
