The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Raghopur P. S. Case No. 140 of 2017 dated 22.12.2017, instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 324, 447, 307, 379, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33484 of 2020(3) dt.20-01-2021 2/3 The allegation against the petitioner is of assaulting one Munarik Das with a sharp cutting weapon. Mr. Munarik Das has received grievous injuries corresponding to the accusation of assault by the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there is a counter version of the occurrence and the petitioner is in custody since 01.06.2020.

Regard being had to the period of custody of the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M. IX, Vaishali at Hajipur, in connection with Raghopur P. S. Case No. 140 of 2017.

However, it is directed that the petitioner shall participate in the trial and shall not do anything to impede the conclusion of trial. The petitioner shall not
