JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) Date : 13-11-2017 The Writ Court has refused to consider the prayer of the appellant for including the name of his second wife in the service record on account of the fact that the appellant himself is held responsible for interpolation in the service record trying to include the name of his second wife and for the same a criminal case is pending before the court of competent jurisdiction. Now, today we are informed that in the criminal case the appellant has been exonerated. If that be so, appellant may represent to the State Government or the competent authority of the department for correction in the service record

Patna High Court LPA No.1992 of 2016 dt.13-11-2017 2/2 along with the relevant document including his acquittal or exoneration in the criminal case and it would be for the competent authority to take note of the grievance of the appellant and pass an appropriate speaking order with regard to correction in the service record. The action be taken within a reasonable period of 60 days.

With the aforesaid, the Letters Patent Appeal stands disposed of.
