The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 376 of the Indian Penal Code.
As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is said to have committed rape on the wife of the informant who was specially abled.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. No such occurrence as alleged has taken place. The petitioner is in custody since 5.10.2020 and has no criminal antecedent. Charge has been framed in the case and the petitioner undertakes to cooperate in the trial.

No.33693 of 2022(3) dt.13-01-2023 2/2 Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegation against the petitioner of having committed rape on the informant's wife who was specially abled and the same having been found to be true in course of investigation, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and the application is rejected. Learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and to conclude the same at the earliest preferably within a period of six months from the date of communication of this order.
