This is a writ petition in relation to the release of a vehicle arising out of its seizure under the Excise Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner informs that in view of the orders passed by the learned Single Judge on 06.12.2017 the vehicle has already been released. It appears that this matter had been tagged along with L.P.A. No. 1647 of 2015 where the Full Bench has already

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.2333 of 2017(5) dt.06-02-2019 2/2 answered the scope of the exercise of powers of release. It is no longer necessary now to keep the matter pending as the petition has become infructuous with the compliance of the orders of the learned Single Judge. No further orders are, therefore, required in this matter.
