The claim for salary made by the petitioner is answered in the counter affidavit and the reason assigned is that he did not work for the days in question.

The statement made in the counter affidavit is uncontested and the reason is supported on the principles of no work no pay. It is admitted that the petitioner is a contractual employee and obviously since he has not worked for the days in question, he is not entitled for the wages so claimed.

The writ petition is dismissed.
