Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
Allegation is that petitioners were apprehended while they were carrying liqour from one place to another. Total 88.830 litres of liquor was recovered. Petitioners have got no criminal antecedent. They are in custody since 02.04.2019. Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail after completion of investigation on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31629 of 2019(2) dt.13-05-2019 2/2 amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Special Case No. 3516 of 2019 arising out of Shashtri Nagar Police Station Case No. 300 of 2019, subject to the condition that the petitioners shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
