The petitioner seeks bail in Mahua P.S. Case No. 448 of 2013, registered for the offences punishable under Section 302 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant made allegation that the petitioner killed his sister due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. Submission is that the marriage was solemnized in the year 2005 and the petitioner has got three children. The informant participated in the cremation.

It appears that the petitioner is the husband and during the course of investigation, it has come that the petitioner was always subjecting his wife to torture. The dead body of the deceased was cremated without information to the informant and

Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within one year from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order and if the trial is not concluded within the stipulated period the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail firstly before the court below.
