The petitioner seeks bail in Gopalganj Town P.S. case no. 300 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 25(1-B)a and 26 of the Arms Act.

Earlier, the prayer for bail of petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 2.11.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. no. 58784 of 2018 with liberty to renew prayer for bail after six months if no substantial progress is made in the case. The report called for from the Court has been received and kept at Flag-A from which it appears that after framing of charge on 27.2.2019 four witnesses have been examined and three witnesses are left to be examined in this case.

The petitioner is in custody since 21.6.2018. Keeping in view the period of custody and the fact that trial has not concluded, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the CJM, Gopalganj, in connection with Gopalganj Town P.S. case no. 300 of 2018 subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
