2. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks and is granted permission to withdraw the applications with regard to the petitioner no. 2 (in Cr. Misc. No. 35491 of 2025) and the petitioner no. 1 (in Cr. Misc. No. 36507 of 2025).

3. Accordingly, the prayers for grant of anticipatory bail to the aforesaid two petitioners stand dismissed as withdrawn.

4. The remaining petitioners i.e. the petitioner, Uma Devi ( in Cr. Misc. No. 35491 of 2025), Prity Kumari and Annu Kumari (in Cr. Misc. No. 36507 of 2025) are apprehending their arrest in Maniyari P.S. Case No. 239 of 2024 registered under Sections 80/ 3(5) of the BNS.

5. As per the prosecution story, all the FIR named accused persons including these petitioners assaulted and killed the informant's daughter due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

6. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners, namely, Prity Kumari and Annu Kumari (in Cr. Misc. No. 36507 of 2025) are unmarried sisters-in-law (nanad) of the deceased whereas the petitioner, Uma Devi (in Cr. Misc. No. 35491 of 2025) is mother-in-law of the deceased having no concern with day-to-day affairs of the couple. It has further been submitted that the husband of the deceased has been granted privilege of regular bail.

7. Learned counsel for the informant as well as State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners.

8. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances and also the fact that the petitioners are ladies, let the petitioners, Uma Devi ( in Cr. Misc. No. 35491 of 2025), Prity Kumari and Annu Kumari (in Cr. Misc. No. 36507 of 2025), in the event of arrest/surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.-VIII, (West), Muzaffarpur in connection with Maniyari P.S. Case No. 239 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure/ 482(2) of the BNSS, 2023.
