2. The present writ application is filed for following reliefs:

(a) For issuance of writ, orders or direction for quashing of entire criminal proceeding against the petitioners arising out of Town P.S. Case No. 166 of 2023 registered under Sections 341, 323, 354B, 307, 504 and 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code pending before Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai.

(b) For any other relief or reliefs for which petitioners deserve in the opinion of this Hon'ble Court.

3. As per the prosecution case, petitioner nos. 1 and 2 and two or three unknown persons, variously armed, came at the house of informant and told that petitioner no. 3 has sent them for killing the informant and his entire family and they assaulted the informant with knife and when his wife came for his rescue, the co-accused persons also tried to strangulate her and misbehaved with her. It is further alleged that petitioner no. 2 snatched golden chain worth Rs. 56,000/- from the neck of informant's wife and petitioner no. 1 also lifted a box containing cash of Rs. 15,000/-, property document and clothes worth Rs. 5,000/-.

4. Mr. Md. Ataul Haque, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent no. 5 informs this Court that parties have settled their dispute and parties have jointly submitted that the present FIR be quashed.

5. In view of the aforesaid, the present writ application is allowed and the entire criminal proceeding against the petitioners in connection with Begusarai Town P.S. Case No. 166 of 2023 registered under Section 341, 323, 354B, 307, 504 and 506 read with Section 34 of the IPC is quashed. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Shahnawaz/- U T
