This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Town P.S. Case No. 297 of 2023 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is recovery of 3.840 litres of liquor. The petitioner is in custody since 17.04.2023.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34429 of 2023(2) dt.24-05-2023 2/2 Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody, this application for regular bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completing six months in custody and on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Excise Court No.1, East Champaran, Motihari, in connection with Town P.S.
