JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 03-03-2015 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner being the father of the husband of the informant is languishing in jail since 27.06.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302 and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
It is alleged that the step daughter of the informant was killed by her in-laws after 8-9 years of the marriage since she was opposing the business of illicit liquor being conducted by the inlaws family of the victim. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that admittedly the informant is not the eye-witness to the occurrence and only on suspicion, the entire family members have been roped in the present case. It appears from the impugned order that the investigation has already concluded. It is claimed by the petitioner
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7689 of 2015 (2) dt.03-03-2015 2/2 that he is separate from the husband of the victim. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of `10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ADJ-II, Benipur, Darbhanga in connection with Asthan P.S. Case No. 144 of 2013.
