2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498A, 34 and 494 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. At the outset, it is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of Opposite Party No. 2 that proceedings under Sections 82 and 83 of Cr.P.C. has already been initiated against the petitioner and as such, this anticipatory bail application is not maintainable.

4. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of
