This application, for grant of regular bail, arises out of Excise Police Station Case No. 375C2 of 2023, registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

It is alleged that 20 litres of illegal country made liquor has been recovered from the gallon of the petitioner and other co-accused persons. The petitioner is in custody since 11.04.2023 and he has one more criminal antecedent. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case.

Considering the fact and circumstances of the case, let

No.34548 of 2023(2) dt.24-05-2023 2/2 the petitioner, named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-V-cum-Exclusive Special Court-2, Excise Act, Lakhisarai, in connection with Excise Police Station Case No. 375C2 of 2023.
