The petitioner is in judicial custody in connection with Gangta P.S. Case No. 79 of 2021 in S.T. Case NO. 2201 of 2021 for the offences under Sections 25(1-A)25 (1-AA)25 (1b)a, (I) (II) of the Arms Act. As per the FIR, the police apprehended the sister of the petitioner and recovered a country-made revolver and accordingly on her statement, the house of the petitioner was raided and he was arrested along with pistol and loaded magazine and the further allegation is that on his confession, the police took him to the nearby dense forest where from the

Considering the allegation that has been made against the petitioner and the recovery/seizure of arms/manufacturing items, this Court for the present is not inclined to grant him privilege of bail which is accordingly, rejected. As per the order of the learned 7th Additional Sessions Judge, Munger, charges have been framed in the matter. Accordingly, the learned Trial Court is hereby directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within a period of one year.
