The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sultanganj P.S. Case No.257 of 2013 registered for the offences punishable under sections 399, 402 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code and 25(1-B)(a), 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

According to the prosecution case, one country made loaded pistol was recovered from possession of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 23rd November, 2013 and some other accused persons having more or less identical allegation have already been granted bail by different Bench of this Court. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.51586 of 2014 (2) dt.04-03-2015 2/2 bail.

Regard being had to the period of custody undergone by the petitioner, the petitioner, namely, Shashi Yadav is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-VI, Patna City, Patna in connection with Sultanganj P.S.
