The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Darauli P.S. Case No. 43 of 2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a), 38(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

From a vehicle which was intercepted, 170.280 litres of foreign liquor was recovered.

The petitioner is neither the owner of the vehicle

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33504 of 2020(2) dt.15-12-2020 2/2 nor is he in any way connected with co-accused Pappu Choudhary and he is in custody since 16.08.2020. Regard being had to the afore-stated facts, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Siwan, in connection with Darauli P.S.
