The petitioner being the father of the husband of the victim is languishing in custody since 14.10.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304A/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Subsequently, section 304B of the IPC was added.
The accusation is of killing the sister of the informant after six years of the marriage.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the accusation is omnibus and general and the police was also in doubt about the accusation, hence, initially the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14511 of 2015 (03) dt.01-05-2015 2/2 case was registered under Section 304A of the Indian Penal Code. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Turkaulia P.S. Case No. 648 of 2014.
