2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 307/353/379 and other ancillary sections of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, all the FIR named accused persons including this petitioner and 10/15 unknown persons assaulted the police party with lathi, danda as a result of which informant and one constable sustained injuries. Accused persons also snatched loaded pistol, mobile phone purse and gold chain of a constable.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that no specific overt has been alleged against the petitioner. As a matter of fact, petitioner was living out of station at the relevant time. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Considering the nature of accusation, prayer for
