Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

After six months of marriage, sister of the informant died in her matrimonial house. When the dead body of the sister of the informant was being carried on the tempo of this petitioner, the police apprehended the same. Allegation is against in-laws of commission of murder for property dispute. Submission is that the petitioner had no knowledge that the victim has already died; rather, the petitioner was asked to carry her to the hospital. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Nadi Police Station Case No. 22 of 2019, with the following conditions: (a) Both the bailors shall be the resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court-below having immovable property.

(b) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner. (Birendra Kumar, J) Rajan/- U T
