The petitioner is the father-in-law of the deceased and is in custody since 08.07.2014 in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 304(B), 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that allegation of demand of dowry is specific against the husband of the deceased Mukesh Kumar and so far this petitioner is concerned, the allegation is general and omnibus alongwith other co-accused persons. He has further submitted that mother-in-law of the deceased, Matrani Devi against whom the allegations are similar has been granted regular bail by this Court vide order dated 23.10.2013 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 44389 of 2013.
